Wild Cranberry Rosemary Turkey

Having Celiac Disease has is moments of awesomeness, though they are few and far between most times. I experience one of them a couple of weeks ago as I entered the gates of organic, celiac heaven found at Whole Foods. One recently opened not too far from us and as the Hubs and I perused around the store, I experienced intense moments of awesomeness. From that moment I was inspired to make this Thanksgiving one incredible holiday where my diet would not hold me back. Am I Enough?

A woman of many to do lists, constant ideas of efficiency and effectiveness and a touch of perfectionism mixed into the lot, I've really struggled with being enough. I have had many days when I've felt like I am not enough. This measuring stick held up by myself, but standards set by society, create a level of anxiety that for years I have struggled with. Despite crossing everything off on my to-do list, I still felt like I missed something vital, something that will make me "measure up more," but measure up to what? Bright Valleys

Everyone has heard the expression about being on bright mountain tops and in dark valleys... Right? We are talking about life, hard times and good times. Sometimes life gets rough and it's hard to see a way out, it's hard to look at the circumstances and truly believe they are temporary. Mountain tops and valleys, we all experience them, we all know what they look and feel life.... Now that everyone is caught up and on the same page, we can continue. Usually dark valleys do not come with any surprise. The bright mountain top fades as you slowly sink down in the dark valley. Emotions change and you can feel it every step of the way. The people around you can attest to your mood swinging a different direction. Dark valleys gradually surround us, but we sense and experience it every step of the way.
